Hi I’m Una and today I want to talk
to you about a skill that hardly anybody talks about in
business,yet could be the difference between your
success and failure.

Picture this twenty years ago a Russian
immigrant arriving in America
being completely overwhelmed by the
number of choices available
just by walking into a local supermarket
and think about today
think about how many more choices
there are available to you hundreds
thousands even

I’m not just talking about I’m when you
go and do your supermarket shopping
I’m talking about in business the
newsletters you subscribe to the videos
you watch the books that you read
the mentors that you choose to listen to
to and work with
what are they teaching you? Think about
the business opportunities in front of

Which are the ones that you go yes
absolutely which are the ones you go
I’m not touching that with a barge pole!

In business you’ve got decisions to make
all the time
so what criteria are you using to make
your decisions

you’ve got to understand what business is
going to work for you
and what type of business isn’t going to
work for you. You could be faced with

all sorts of opportunities to spend
or invest money. You’ve got different
that can help you grow your business or if
they’re wrong opportunity
maybe they could put you out of business.

you but the thought of lying awake at night worrying about what to do about decisions doesn’t appeal and the thing is the faster you can make decisions
the faster you can move forward.

Not making a decision is a great way for somebody to procrastinate and procrastinators don’t tend to have profitable businesses. And they definitely
don’t achieve the visions that they
want. So if you have got an inspirational vision
and you want to be able to achieve it
profitably make sure you understand the right criteria
by which you have got to make decisions in your business. Do that
and your business will be a lot easier.

    I think it comes down to the analysis of the numbers in relation to
    opportunity cost. With the long run of the market as the strategy

      Hey +John W, thanks for your comment. Definitely numbers are important, however discernment is necessary to understand how the numbers impact the decision…

      Many people will not think of the numbers first because different people have different strengths and therefore will follow different strategies and paths for their success (there are 8 different  paths with Talent Dynamics).

      This is why I always encourage small businesses to build a team so that they get different perspectives and approaches…
