How to Use Linkedin: How NOT to Message People on Linkedin

How to Use Linkedin

Have you ever experienced that Linkedin message that arrives seemingly moments after you accept their contact request and which is basically asking you to buy from them – and you’re probably not even in their target market? Yes, me too! (That face is how it makes me feel!) It’s like being asked to get married on a first date…

So I’ve put together this short video to talk about what to do instead. (Though really this applies to any social media not just Linkedin…)

Hit the play button to discover the impact of this approach and some tips on what you can do instead.

Are we connected on Linkedin yet?

If you don’t use it then it might be time to start, it’s a great tool that you can use for market research and keeping up with what’s going on in your industry as well as networking. You can connect to me on Linkedin here and if you’re asked, use this email address una [at] creativeflow.tv. (Please mention that you’ve seen this video.)
